Taking breaks


I am so sorry that I have been gone for so long (feels like forever)! I have been in the process of moving, finals at my college, volunteering and so much more! It’s been stressful but now I am ready to get back into blogging; I have missed it so much! I thought this would be the perfect post to make as I have taken a break here recently.

1 Don’t put too much pressure on yourself

I know that this step is easier said than done, but it is so important to not put unrealistic expectations upon yourself. Learn to pace your work, take breaks and don’t be cruel to yourself.

2 Understand that taking breaks is good for you

I know letting yourself take a break can be very hard, but it could be exactly what you need to make yourself feel renewed.

3 Breaks help us reevaluate ourselves

Everyone needs to reevaluate sometimes. This helps us see where we are, where we want to be and what we need to do to get there.

Productivity will increase

If we overwork ourselves, our productivity will only keep decreasing the more tired we become. However, if we take a break every now and then, we will come back replenished and more productive.
