Taking breaks

I am so sorry that I have been gone for so long (feels like forever)! I have been in the process of moving, finals at my college, volunteering and so much more! It’s been stressful but now I am ready to get back into blogging; I have missed it so much! I thought this would be the perfect post to make as I have taken a break here recently.

1 Don’t put too much pressure on yourself

I know that this step is easier said than done, but it is so important to not put unrealistic expectations upon yourself. Learn to pace your work, take breaks and don’t be cruel to yourself.

2 Understand that taking breaks is good for you

I know letting yourself take a break can be very hard, but it could be exactly what you need to make yourself feel renewed.

3 Breaks help us reevaluate ourselves

Everyone needs to reevaluate sometimes. This helps us see where we are, where we want to be and what we need to do to get there.

Productivity will increase

If we overwork ourselves, our productivity will only keep decreasing the more tired we become. However, if we take a break every now and then, we will come back replenished and more productive.

10 Skin Habits You Should Adopt

1. Be careful with how you wash your face

Pulling and tugging on your facial skin causes wrinkles. When washing your face, use hot water to wet the skin and open up pores, gently wash your face with cleanser and use cold water to rinse your face and close your pores!

2.Exfoliate your whole body!

Exfoliation is a major key to healthy skin! Chemical scrubs, sugar scrubs, and dry brushes are all great ways to clear the skin’s surface of dead skin cells that clog pores and keep the blood flow circulating nicely.

3.Drink a lot of water

Water is one of the purest, most healthy things for you on this planet. Drinking lots of water and staying hydrated helps your skin stay healthy and rejuvenated.

4.Use eye cream no matter your age

Eye cream isn’t something that should be used after aging signs have appeared. Eye creams help fight aging and keep the skin healthy! If you are young, use eye cream as a preventative. However, if you already see signs of aging, it is never too late to start using eye cream!

5.Use facial oils

Serum is made to penetrate deeply into the skin and deliver a very high concentration of active ingredients. Depending on your skin concern, determines what kind of serum can help you best. Whether it’s hydration, wrinkles, or skin brightening.

6.Add a toner to your routine

Toner helps to remove oil and dirt from the skins surface. Toners are also great for when you want extra cleaning after wearing makeup or other heavy skin products.

7. SUNSCREEN!!!

Sun damage ages the skin like nothing else. Using a sunscreen daily is essential to any skin care routine!

8. VITAMIN C AND RETINOL

Vitamin C provides great antioxidants as well as promotes collagen production. Retinol smoothes wrinkles and boosts the skins elasticity.

9. Sleep with a humidifier

Sleeping with a humidifier on can really help with keeping your skin from getting dry!

I have noticed a big difference with my skin since I started sleeping with a humidifier on a couple of nights a week. I live in Florida which is a very humid climate, if you live somewhere with a dry climate, I would recommend using one every night.

10. Make sure the products you buy are made for your skin type.

This is a very important step! Make sure that you buy products geared towards your skin type. For example, I have combo skin and if I were to buy a product geared towards dry skin, the product would probably provide more moisture than my skin needs, making me look greasy.

My handbag collection

Hey everyone! How are You? Today I thought it would be a great idea to share my handbag collection with You! I always enjoy reading blog posts or watching YouTube videos on other people’s bag collections because I love bags so so much!! I figured it would be fun to share mine with you all! So lets get started!!!

My Handbag Collection

This was my first Coach satchel and was the first upscale handbag that I ever had. This was a birthday gift from my father and I remember that I chose it because it was on sale and I wanted something that would match with everything! I was so excited to get this purse! Honestly, after how many years I’ve had this bag and how many times I have used it, it still looks Great! Coach has some really nice quality!

The red tag I have on here is something that I added later on. Just an FYI, Coach now does engravings! This tag was part of a gift that my honey got me and he had our initials engraved with a heart between them!

This is my Ralph Lauren tote and it is absoolutley gorgeous! I love wearing this as a statement and I love to pair it with anything floral!

Next, we have this Michael Kors cross body. This is one of my most worn purses EVER! The grey color goes so well with so many different outfits and the simplicity of being able to toss this around my neck and have free hands is what makes this such a go to purse for me.

Now this is another gift from my tia!! She visits Mexico pretty much once a year to see her family and she brought me back this hand made leather purse! I think this purse is really beautiful and the colors all go together so well!

Also, look at the detail! I love the intricacy of this purse!! I really love this bag because my grandfather likes to make leather goods. As a little girl he would make me things like hair pins, wallets, key chains and this purse reminds me of him.

This is my second Ralph Lauren purse and I just adore it! This bag is made of snake-skin so, the feel is really nice. Most of the leathers on my purses are stiff, but this is so flexible and is a really nice change!

This is my first Aldo bag! I love this little bag so much!! I had originally seen a white version of this bag and really liked it. I had my eyes on this for months and months and then I  received it as a Christmas present from my pops! This purse receives a lot of attention whenever I wear it out because it is basically a ball of glitter!

This is a little clutch I picked up at a store in the mall called “Chic” and I bought it to match my outfit for a quincé that I attended! I knew I was going to be wearing sparkly gold heels and this store has tons of little bedazzled bags in it. So, I finally had an excuse to look at all of the cute little bags (I tried to stay away from this store because I want everything in it).

This was a graduation gift from my aunt (have you noticed a pattern? She shares a bag addiction with Me!) I love this purse to pieces and the quality of Louis Vuitton is amazing! I also really love the dome shape as it’s something different to my collection.

This is my giant Calvin Klein purse! I don’t know if you can tell in the picture, but this purse is literally wider than my body. This can be carried by hand or add the shoulder strap, which I always use. I like this one for when I need to carry a lot of stuff and still look fashionable!

Finally, this is the newest addition to the family! This is the Chain Prairie Satchel from the latest collection at Coach and it’s so gorgeous!! This is a mix of suede and pebble leather. I love how this purse looks so sophisticated while still being edgy, with the chain handles. I bought this baby when I was in Miami a couple of weeks ago and honestly the pictures just don’t do this justice!

Saving you dollas!!

This is a quick post to share with you guys this awesome speaker I got for $11.99 off of Amazon! This is a portable wireless Bluetooth speaker and it works wonderfully. If you have prime, then great because this item is prime eligible!! I was a bit worried because I have never heard of this brand, but the speaker doesn’t take up much space and is perfect for my needs. This doesn’t blare the roof off, but is perfect for listening to some music in your room! You can find the speaker here.

Top 5 perfumes you should give a shot

I am a perfume JUNKIE and I always have perfume with me and I am always trying out new ones. I’m the type of girl that is pretty obsessed with smelling good, since I have tried so many, I have to share my top 5!

#1 Dasisy by Marc Jacobs

Daisy is my all time number one perfume and everyone who smells this, loves it! This has notes of floral with a vintage edge of violet and it is perfect for daytime (although I use this in the evening as well).

#2 Saint and Sinner by Kat Von D

Number 2 is a two in one because these two perfumes are amazing and they came out together! Saint has notes of and Vanilla, musk, and jasmine, making it a beautiful daytime scent. Sinner has notes Patchouli, Wood, and Cinnamon making it a sexy nighttime scent.

#3 Pure seduction from Victoria’s Secret

This is a great scent that is perfect for everyday use. With notes of fruity floral, fresh apple and saguaro flower, Aqua Kiss: Fresh, with rain-kissed freesia and daisy. This perfume has so much all in one, but the combination is delicious!

#4 Love story by Chloe

This perfume is honestly more of a splurge. So, if you are ever in the mood to splurge, go give this perfume a smell and see if you love it as much as I do! This perfume has notes of orange Blossom, jasmine, and Cedar wood.

#5 Dot by Marc Jacobs

This scent is a bit more grown up and sexy than its sister perfume Daisy. If you are looking for a perfume with notes of anything similar to red Berries, Dragon fruit, Honeysuckle, Jasmine, Coconut Water, Orange Blossom, Vanilla, Driftwood, or Musk, then give this perfume a shot! I know this has a lot of notes, but if you’re ever in the mall or local shops I recommend at least giving this a sniff because the combination of it all is to die for!
